Approximately 17 years after the original TV anime 'Mononoke' aired in Fuji TV's 'noitaminA' programming block in 2007, the series was reborn as a completely new theatrical trilogy. The first chapter 'Karakasa' (2024) achieved a record-breaking extended theatrical run, while the second chapter 'Hinezumi' (March 2025) won the audience award at Canada's Fantasia International Film Festival for two consecutive years, earning high acclaim both domestically and internationally.
In this final chapter, the mysterious Medicine Seller confronts the most terrifying Mononoke yet within the secret garden of the Ooku (Inner Palace).
