A modern-day onmyoji who exorcises for a living. Born into a family that has produced many onmyoji, he is calm, composed and upright. He holds the protagonist Minato Kusunoki in high regard and rushes about exterminating evil spirits with the help of his talisman power. He harbors a feud with the fellow onmyoji Ichijo.
Minato Kusunoki (CV: Shogo Sakata), entrusted with managing a single house in the countryside, unwittingly wipes out the evil spirits with his extraordinary power. Drawn by the comfort of the purified Kusunoki residence, distinctive gods and spirit beasts gather, beginning with the mountain god (CV: Mahide Fuji), in this heartwarming country-life comedy. The opening theme is "Odoroki no Ko" by Miyu Irino, and the ending theme is "Utamahi" by JYOCHO.
