The Music Video premieres tonight at 21:00 JST on YouTube. The video is directed by Shimpei Uchibori, the visual artist behind the anime's key art, and opens with Reko-chan and her boyfriend Inu-kun displayed inside an art museum, with cameo appearances from "Kuranika" characters newly drawn by Uchibori.

In addition, Koresawa has announced her first-ever nationwide hall tour, "Koresawa HALL TOUR 2026 THE PINK," spanning 20 venues across Japan. The tour kicks off September 19, 2026 (Sat) at Misato City Cultural Hall. Tickets are priced at 7,800 yen (general) and 6,800 yen (U-18), both tax included. "I Made Friends with the Second Prettiest Girl in My Class" is a TV anime based on the hit light novel by Takata (published by KADOKAWA Sneaker Bunko), which has surpassed 1.6 million copies in cumulative sales. It depicts a true-to-life "friend zone" romantic comedy between the class loner Maki Maehara (CV: Haruki Ishiya) and the rumored "second prettiest girl in class" Umi Asanagi (CV: Manaka Iwami). Direction is by Hideki Tachibana, series composition and screenplay by Keiichiro Ochi, with animation production by CONNECT. Currently broadcasting on TOKYO MX, Kansai TV, BS Asahi, and AT-X, and streaming on d Anime Store, U-NEXT and others.
