"Tomb Raider King" is a supernatural-action series based on the hit webtoon that has surpassed 500 million cumulative global views. It follows an avenger who claws his way back from hell and "steals" the powers of myth to strike down those who wronged him, in a story of dramatic reversal. The series airs on Fuji TV's "B8station," Kansai TV, and other stations starting July 8 (Wed) at 25:15.
The opening theme is "SHOW DOWN," performed by the South Korean four-member girl band QWER — the group's first-ever anime tie-up song.
At the "World Premiere of Episodes 1 & 2 with Cast Talk," Episodes 1 and 2 will be screened, followed by a stage greeting featuring four main cast members: Yoshimasa Hosoya (as Ryoga Goriki), Saori Hayami (as Eileen Holton), Junichi Suwabe (as Yasumasa Okawara), and Nobuhiko Okamoto (as Noboru Kureha). In addition to the on-site screening, an online advance screening and a live broadcast of the stage greeting will be available on YouTube's "KADOKAWA Anime Channel," with new information also set to be revealed.
