Based on the popular light novel by Hoshizuki Koneko (author) and Fumi (illustrator), originally published on "Shosetsuka ni Narou" and released by KADOKAWA. The manga adaptation is drawn by Iwamoto Kenichi and serialized in Monthly Comic Ace (KADOKAWA). The series has surpassed 3.8 million copies in circulation.
In a world where roles such as "Hero," "Warrior," and "Villager" are determined at birth, Kagami Koji was born as the weakest "Villager." After 20 years of defeating monsters, he has reached LV999—far beyond the normal cap of LV10 for villagers—making him an unprecedented existence. One day, his encounter with the demon girl Alice Barnesio draws him into the conflicts between species and the world's hidden secrets.
Animation production is handled by Brain's Base, directed by Kasai Yoshinobu with series composition by Fujita Shinzo.
