The series is based on the manga by Aononachi (Comic Yuri Hime / Ichijinsha), a story depicting the bonds between girls swept up in a cruel fate. At a special school that raises orphaned children as "weapons" for war, an irrational daily life flows on as if normal — a place where one cannot even mourn when a life is lost. Within such a world, the poignant and precious story of two girls who meet there unfolds.
The ending theme "Éternel," which brings the story to a close, vividly colors the struggles and bonds of these fleeting yet beautiful girls and the unique atmosphere of the work. The song is written by sana, composed by Ayaka Fujiwara, and arranged by Atsushi Yuasa.

In the end, I wanted to portray the preciousness of the time we spend with the people beside us right now, so I titled it 'Éternel,' the French word for <eternity>.
