What Sasaki bought at the pet shop was a renowned sage reincarnated from another world — a Java sparrow, no less. Naming the bird "Peeps," worn-down salaryman Sasaki is granted a passage to that other world and the power of magic, and heals his exhausted body and mind with a sword-and-sorcery fantasy life. Then one day, on his way home from work, Sasaki encounters a being called a "psychic" — and, mistaken for one himself, is scouted by the government's "Cabinet Office Bureau of Paranormal Phenomena." The story of crossing back and forth between worlds accelerates further in Season 2.
