The theme songs for the TV anime Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs Season 2, premiering July 8, 2026, have been announced. The opening theme will be performed by music unit Ando (Takeyaki Sho, Hirose Daisuke, and ANCHOR), while the ending theme will be performed by the group Meisho Hikokai, which boasts over 1.2 million combined social media followers.

The opening theme "Jinsei End Roll" (Life's End Roll) features a driving band sound with lyrics that capture the series' worldview. It can be heard in the newly released PV #2 trailer. The ending theme "Ashita wa Ashita no Keserasera!" (Tomorrow is Tomorrow's Que Sera Sera!) is described as an ultra-positive anthem and carefree declaration for the hard-working modern society. Both songs are written and composed/arranged by ANCHOR. Digital release for both tracks is set for July 9 (Thursday) at midnight across various music streaming services.

Ando is a three-member music unit formed by Takeyaki Sho, a top YouTuber with approximately 2.8 million subscribers; Hirose Daisuke, a voice actor known for the smartphone game Project Sekai: Colorful Stage! feat. Hatsune Miku and various stage and anime productions; and music producer ANCHOR, whose work on the TV anime Toilet-bound Hanako-kun theme song garnered over 25 million YouTube views.

Meisho Hikokai is a five-member music group consisting of Muro Hanako, Furumori Mog, HYUGA, Ikasan, and Toggy, with a combined social media following exceeding 1.2 million. Armed with provocative lyrics that cut through without regard for public opinion, and sharp mixture-rock sounds, the group made their striking debut with a solo concert at Hulic Hall Tokyo in September 2025.

"Congratulations on the Season 2 broadcast! I've been drawn to the series' worldview since Season 1 — the 'strength to keep resisting as yourself in an unreasonable world' — so I'm truly honored to sing the opening. Having continued challenges that people call 'not normal' through my YouTube career, I couldn't help but empathize with the protagonist's rebellious spirit and his gritty determination to push forward. I tried to pack that resolve and emotional turbulence into the song's driving momentum, so I hope you enjoy it alongside the anime!"

"Congratulations on Season 2!! I truly feel proud to be part of this beloved series. This song has a driving band sound filled with lyrics that let you feel the world of the story. I'd be happy if the song helps you immerse yourself even more. I can't wait to feel the same excitement from Season 1 again in Season 2. I want to cheer it on together with everyone!!"

"Thank you for your continued support. I'm ANCHOR from Ando. Congratulations on the Season 2 broadcast! This is Ando's first anime theme song, and my heart is full of joy and nerves. If I elaborated further, it would turn into an otaku's typical long essay, so I packed everything I wanted to say into the music. I'm also handling the ED sung by Meisho Hikokai, so please enjoy both the OP and ED along with the anime's passion! Thank you very much."

"Congratulations on the Season 2 broadcast! We never imagined we'd get to sing the ending — when the offer came in, all the members went wild! This song was also a challenge into a new genre for us, and we had so much fun from the recording sessions! It turned out to be an energetic track that can cheer up the characters even in tough scenes. True to ANCHOR who composed it, the lyrics have words from the series and character names hidden throughout, so we hope you enjoy spotting them! Please enjoy it alongside Ando's opening!"
