"license" has been selected as the opening theme for the TV anime "The Strongest Rearguard: Labyrinth Country and the Rookie Seeker," which begins airing on July 5 (Sunday). A preview of the song can be heard in the anime's second promotional video, currently available on YouTube. A new artist photo was also revealed alongside the release announcement.

"'Kakeru' — if a sheep had wings, how far would it fly? How far can this band soar across the wide world? We named it with that hope and anticipation. I wrote the chorus hoping to sing it together with our listeners. 'license' was written by overlapping my own experiences with the strength of moving forward with companions and having someone you can trust to watch your back."
