This new theatrical film marks the first Keroro Gunso movie in approximately 16 years, based on Mine Yoshizaki's popular manga "Keroro Gunso" (Sgt. Frog). The film follows the Keroro Platoon — a squad of alien invaders from Planet Keron led by Sergeant Keroro — and the Hinata family they live with, as they face a crisis that threatens Earth's very existence. The TV anime ran for seven seasons and 358 episodes from 2004 to 2011, with five theatrical films produced, making it a beloved national comedy anime franchise that is now making its long-awaited return.
The SHIBUYA109 collaboration features the main visual on the building exterior, promotional videos on in-store digital signage, a digital rally event, and a lottery for original merchandise.
