Ikumi Hasegawa (Soara):
"I'm Ikumi Hasegawa, voicing Soara. When I first read the original manga, I was captivated by the heartwarming story and the intricately drawn world. Watching the houses that Kirik and the others build filled me with excitement, like a child reading a picture book. I'm truly happy to be able to live in this world as Soara. I'm performing with great care for the emotional changes she experiences while spending time with Kirik and the others. Please look forward to it!"
Ayumu Murase (Kirik):
"I'll be voicing Kirik. When I read the original work, I was drawn to not only its originality but also Yamaji-sensei's overwhelming artistic skill, the uniqueness of the monsters that appear, and above all, Kirik's way of life and charisma! The recording sessions have been a joy as we work together with unique guest cast members each episode. Whether you've read the original or not, please look forward to the broadcast!"
Hidenoori Yamaji (Original Creator):
"The anime adaptation has been decided! This is all thanks to the readers who have supported this work. Thank you so much! Right now, so many people are involved in creating this anime, working their hardest every day to make it the best it can be. Watching professionals from all fields weave their craft, it reminds me of Soara, Kirik, and everyone working together to build a 'house' — and I'm certain this will become a truly wonderful 'house (anime)'! I'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved in the production. I'm already looking forward to the broadcast next year. I hope this anime helps the work reach even more people."

Takahiro Ozaki (Director):
"I still clearly remember the warm feeling that filled my heart when I first read the original. I want to carefully depict the adventure and growth of Soara and Kirik while delivering dynamic visuals. I'm thinking I want to capture as many sound-related moments as possible! Please look forward to it."
Ayumu Hisao (Series Composition):
"Through the love that original creator Yamaji-sensei feels for Soara, Kirik, and the monsters — treating each one as if they were real people — I too came to develop deep attachment to the characters while writing the scripts. Together with the sensei, I'm building the story as series composer. Please join us on this warm and exciting adventure."
Tomoko Iwasa (Character Design):
"The original characters each have a rich 'humanity' in their expressions and gestures that comes from their individual backgrounds. I aimed for designs that cherish Soara and Kirik's inner selves and highlight their original charm through movement. While preserving the original's delicate and warm artwork, I believe the addition of anime-specific expression creates even more depth in the visuals. Please look forward to it."
Hinako Tsubakiyama (Music):
"I'm delighted to be in charge of the music for this work. I'm creating the music with the desire to provide sounds that accompany each and every moment Soara and Kirik encounter in their adventures. I'd be happy if you could enjoy watching with excitement, wondering how the yet-unseen 'house' will be completed."
"Soara and the Monster's House" is a fantasy architecture adventure tale about Soara, a girl raised solely to fight monsters, who meets Kirik — a dwarf "Demon Realm Architect" who builds homes for monsters — and finds her destiny changed through their journey of building "houses" for monsters. Volumes 1-6 of the original manga are available now, with Volume 7 scheduled for release on August 10.
