40mP handles the composition of the background music as well as the OP and ED theme songs. It has been announced that Kagura Nana will perform the ED theme, continuing from Season 1.

"I was entrusted with the grand task of creating the theme songs and background music for the long-awaited second season of Tanmoshi. While I felt the pressure, I threw myself into the work with even greater enthusiasm. I am deeply grateful for this wonderful opportunity. Season 2 delves deeper into the past, struggles, missions, hopes, and love of each character. I wrote the theme songs and insert songs with an awareness of who is conveying what feelings to whom. The background music is primarily composed with piano and strings to emotionally color each scene. I would be happy if the theme songs and music can stay close to the hearts of Siesta, Kimizuka, and Natsunagi."
