Reki Kawahara's brand-new anime Demons Crest streams worldwide on Prime Video from November 6, 2026, with Ado performing the opening theme Shinka

Demons Crest, a brand-new work by Reki Kawahara, the author of Sword Art Online and Accel World, has been announced for anime adaptation by Production I.G. It will stream worldwide exclusively on Prime Video from November 6, 2026, and the first key visual and teaser PV have been released. The opening theme has been decided as Ado's new song 「Shinka」.

- About the work
The series is based on the light novel Kawahara has been publishing in Dengeki Bunko (KADOKAWA) since 2022. Set around MR (Mixed Reality), it depicts young people caught up in an incident where the real world and the virtual begin to fuse. The key visual carries the tagline 「This is a game, and yet it is reality」, hinting at a thrilling story in which the boundary between game and reality collapses. The narrative centers on the protagonist Yuma Ashihara and his twin sister Sawa.
