TV Anime "My Happy Marriage" Special Chapter Unveils Tanabata Illustration, X Campaign Also Announced

A newly drawn Tanabata-themed illustration has been unveiled for the TV anime "My Happy Marriage," whose new special chapter will air on TV and stream worldwide via Netflix in all three episodes in 2026.



The illustration depicts Miyo Saimori and Kiyoka Kudo gazing at each other beneath the starry Tanabata night sky. To celebrate its release, free PC and smartphone wallpapers are also being distributed.

In addition, the official X account for "My Happy Marriage" (@watashino_info) is running a special Tanabata campaign, "My Happy Wish." Fans who follow the official account, download a special tanzaku (wish strip) template, fill in their wish, and post it with the hashtag "#わたしの幸せな願い事" along with an image will be entered into a lottery for five winners to receive a special sparkling sticker inspired by the Tanabata night sky. The campaign runs from Tuesday, July 7 through 11:59 PM on Sunday, July 19, 2026. Full entry details are available on the official website.



■About the Anime
The special chapter of "My Happy Marriage" is produced by Kinema Citrus, based on the light novel by Akumi Agitogi (KADOKAWA's Fujimi L Bunko imprint). All three episodes will air on TV and stream worldwide on Netflix in 2026. Direction and series composition are by Yuta Kubota, with music by Evan Call.
