The series is based on the manga of the same name by Aguri Uma, serialized in KADOKAWA's web comic magazine Sylph. Yusuke Kusaka is a striking high schooler with an unapproachable air who has been quietly performing as the vocalist of the band the oops. When Yukari Maki, the earnest honor student assigned to serve as his class liaison, catches sight of him singing at a music studio called Studio Cabana, their relationship begins to shift.
The teaser visual is composed of three stacked panels: Yukari holding a file outside the classroom, Yusuke wearing earphones beside a chain-link fence, and the two of them reaching through the fence until their hands overlap.

Singing artist audition and fan vote for Yusuke Kusaka
An audition to choose the singing artist behind lead character Yusuke Kusaka's voice is underway, and a fan voting campaign has been announced. A demo track will be released on the official social media accounts on August 21, 2026, and promotional videos for five candidates will be published in stages from September through December. A public vote running roughly two weeks will begin in late November, with the winning singing artist announced in January 2027. The judging panel includes the original creator, the director, the music producer and the anime producer.

Campaign
To mark the anime announcement, a giveaway offering postcards to users who repost from the official X account (@studiocabana_pr) runs through August 2, 2026. The first volume of the manga is also available to read for free on Kadocomi and pixiv Comic through August 20, 2026.
