"Firefly Wedding" is based on the manga of the same name by Oreco Tachibana, serialized on Shogakukan's Ura Sunday website and MangaONE app. Set in Meiji-era Japan, it is a twisted love story between a hitman whose love runs far too deep and a young lady living on borrowed time: Satoko Kirigaya, an earl's daughter with a fatal heart condition, proposes marriage to Shinpei Goto — the assassin sent to kill her. The anime is produced by david production and directed by Takahiro Kamei, with Lynn voicing Satoko Kirigaya and Koki Uchiyama voicing Shinpei Goto.
A comment has arrived from TOOBOE about the newly written ending theme "Yumegokochi".

TOOBOE has previously worked on anime tie-ins such as "Jouzai", the ending theme for "Chainsaw Man", and "Anata wa Kaibutsu", the ending theme for "The Summer Hikaru Died". Expectations are high for this new ending theme gracing a Noitamina title.
The EP "Yumegokochi", featuring the new song, goes on sale November 4, 2026 as a special package containing a CD, DVD, and original merchandise, priced at 9,900 yen (tax included).
