Fate/strange Fake New Season Confirmed — Teaser Visual and PV Revealed at Anime NYC

Aniplex announced on August 22, 2026 (JST), at the Fate/strange Fake panel stage held during Anime NYC in New York, that a new season of the TV anime Fate/strange Fake is officially in production, unveiling an announcement PV and a teaser visual.

Fate/strange Fake is based on the novel series by Ryohgo Narita — known for Baccano! and the Durarara!! series — published under KADOKAWA's Dengeki Bunko imprint since 2015, with original character designs by Shizuki Morii. Set in the United States, a first for a Holy Grail War, the story depicts the deadly battles and frenzy of countless mages (Masters) and Heroic Spirits (Servants). The anime is produced by A-1 Pictures (Fate/Apocrypha), directed by Shun Enokido and Takahito Sakazume, with series composition by Daisuke Ohigashi, character designs by Yuukei Yamada, and music by Hiroyuki Sawano. The TV series is currently streaming on ABEMA, dAnime Store, U-NEXT and other services in Japan.

The new teaser visual carries the copy "Rise Against the Rules." and features a striking design in which the portraits of Ayaka, Saber and Sigma shatter and intermingle. Comments from the original author, the character designer and the cast arrived alongside the announcement.
