A family-oriented comedy that revived Tatsunoko Production's popular series 'Ora Guzura Dado' -- a successor to the studio's earlier hit 'Uchuujin Pipi' -- as a full-color remake after nearly two decades. Broadcast on the TV Tokyo network. The easygoing, gluttonous strange creature Guzura, who came to Earth from Planet Guzura, is reconstructed as a cheerful slice-of-life comedy in which he drags the residents of a rural town into uproarious chaos. While the artwork and music were newly produced for the remake, the production employed the unusual technique of reusing voice recordings from the original series for some cast members. The theme song 'Guzura Dado,' sung by Masanori Sato, is a delightful tune that revives the laid-back charm of the original with a lighthearted melody.
