Mechander Robo

A robot anime produced by Wako Productions, based on an original concept by the studio. With 95% of Earth occupied by the Konguister Empire, surviving humans form a defense organization. Jimmy Orion, a 17-year-old prince of the destroyed planet Ganymede, pilots the combining robot Mechander Robo against overwhelming enemy forces. The unusual premise of "enemies far stronger than heroes" sets this series apart, running for 35 episodes.
