A gag anime produced by Tatsunoko Production, based on Fujio Akatsuka's manga "Tensai Bakabon" serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine. The second anime adaptation of Akatsuka's iconic gag work, featuring the catchphrase-spouting "This is fine!" Bakabon's Papa, his son Bakabon, sensible Mama, and genius child Hajime in nonsensical daily chaos. Re-animated by Tatsunoko on TBS network with completely renewed staff from the 1971 NTV version. Recurring characters Rerere-no-Ojisan, Honkan-san, and Eel-Dog also return. 103 episodes.
