A television anime produced by Sakuraku Create, adapting the romantic comedy manga by Ayune Araragi serialized in KADOKAWA's Monthly Shonen Ace (volumes 1-10 currently on sale). Anglo-Japanese police prodigy Rinna Mifford Isshiki, who skipped grades to graduate at the top of her university and joined the "Modern Crime Specialized Investigation Headquarters" as a police inspector at the age of 17, is known as the cold and unflappable "Steel Rinna." Yet whenever she is around the bumbling private investigator Meishi Rokutanda — brought in as a contracted hire under her command — she is overcome by an inexplicable racing heartbeat. To get to the bottom of the mystery, the two enter into a secret pretend-couple contract, and the slapstick beats of casework give way to a sweetly tangled romance between two novices struggling with their first taste of love.
