A TV anime produced by CA Soa. Based on the manga serialized in Shueisha's Jump SQ. since July 2022, with story by Sora Mozuku and art by Togori Higoro. 13 volumes have been published to date. Set in a medieval European-inspired fantasy world in Tree Calendar Year 1294, where wars are waged over ancient towers containing the remnants of an advanced lost civilization. The story follows Luca, a boy with branches growing from his head who works as a bugler in a mercenary company while dreaming of becoming a musician. When a special power awakens within him during battle, encounters with the Pope who rules the nation and Zoe, a girl who shares his condition as a Branch Bearer, will dramatically change Luca's destiny. This grand military-musical fantasy epic depicts the growth of a boy who can see sound, his bonds with his companions, and a battle to choose the future. Directed by Shinya Watada, with series composition by Masanori Tsuchiya, character design by Michinori Chiba, and music by Hitomi Koto. CG production by Shirogumi.
