Since its serialization began in 2020, the series has surpassed 1.75 billion cumulative views across 10 languages, making it a global hit. Set in a hidden world of superpowered \"Awakeners\" existing parallel to modern society, the story follows high schooler Yuwa Kazahaya, who conceals his mysterious abilities. After rescuing an injured stray cat, Yuwa discovers it is actually Kaido, the strongest Awakener trapped in feline form, and finds himself drawn into the conspiracies and organizations of the Awakener world. Directed by Hiroshi Nishikori with series composition by Yosuke Kuroda, character design by Minami Sakura, and music by Taku Iwasaki. The main cast includes Junya Enoki as Yuwa, Tasuku Hatanaka as Jin, Setsuji Sato as Dr. Delain, Hayato Dojima as Sota, and Shizuka Ito as Amane.
