A completely original anime based on an original concept by Yoshitaka Amano, the internationally renowned artist best known for his character designs for the Final Fantasy series. Inspired by his 2010 art collection \"DEVA ZAN\" (featuring over 300 original artworks, published by Dark Horse Comics), the story follows young samurai ZAN as he crosses time and space from Sengoku-era Japan into another world. During a fierce battle at Azuchi Castle, ZAN is guided by a girl's voice into a parallel realm governed by \"Trope,\" the symbol of life, and its ruler \"RIKKA.\" Through intense battles, ZAN confronts and reexamines his own sense of justice in this epic dark fantasy.
