Cyborg 009: Nemesis

A new TV animation "Cyborg 009 Nemesis," produced by Alect and based on Shotaro Ishinomori's timeless classic "Cyborg 009." All three episodes were released simultaneously on July 19, 2026. Hideki Yasuo directs, with scripts by Atsuhiro Tomioka and others and character designs by sanorin. The story begins when a new team of nine cyborgs called "Nemesis," who believe the 009 team cannot guide the world to peace, appears. A nine-on-nine battle unfolds between Nemesis, led by Graviton, and the Zero-Zero cyborgs led by Joe Shimamura / 009. The cast is headlined by Yuki Kaji as Joe Shimamura and Yuichi Nakamura as N009 / Graviton, alongside Junko Minagawa, Mamoru Miyano, Saori Hayami and other acclaimed voice actors. The opening theme is "Tagatame," a song written by original creator Shotaro Ishinomori and newly covered by Kyoko, while the ending theme is "Climahl" by Sukima Switch.
