A Chinese TV anime produced by iQIYI. It is based on the manga On Myao Bo by A Nan and Dai Tu (Kuaikan Manhua), inspired by the cats that actually live in the Forbidden City in Beijing, and the Japanese dubbed version is produced by KADOKAWA. Chief direction is by Deng Zhiwei. In a corner of the Forbidden City lies a secret organisation that guards the national treasures: the Imperial Cat Chamber. Its members are six cats who combine wisdom and courage. To protect the memories dwelling within cultural relics, known as Wuhua, they enter the Wuhua World, where their mission is to defeat the malevolent Black Owl that damages these memories and restore the world to its proper course. The team is led by the sharp-witted Soubi, joined by the powerfully built officer Oboi, the disguise and medicine expert Heian, the cheerful information gatherer Zeze, the erudite elder Rohan, and the gifted younger sister Momo. Boisterous and full of character, the cats quarrel and cooperate in turn as they strive to protect the cultural treasures and the memories inscribed within them, opening a new legend in the Forbidden City that no human knows. The Japanese dub cast features Kazuki Ura, Makoto Furukawa, Sora Amamiya, Takeo Otsuka, Kentaro Tone and Hikaru Tono.
