The protagonist Ichika Orimura accidentally activates an IS despite being male, forcing him into the IS Academy. Surrounded by representative candidates from various nations including childhood friend Houki Shinonono, Cecilia Alcott from Britain, Lingyin Huang from China, Charlotte Dunois from France, and Laura Bodewig from Germany, Ichika navigates school life and battles involving IS.
