A TV anime produced by ZERO-G, based on the light novel by Tsukikage published by Micro Magazine GC Novels (originating from "Shosetsuka ni Narou"). The series has sold over 1.5 million copies (as of September 2024). In the golden age of treasure hunters, Level 8 weakest hunter Cry Andrich leads the party "Strange Grief," known as a legendary leader called "The Divine Strategist" and "Thousand Trials." But his true goal is a peaceful retirement. However, misunderstandings constantly drag him into major incidents, and his unintentional actions create new legends. First cour aired October-December 2024, second cour from October 2025 (24 episodes total). Cast includes Kenshow Ono as Cry, Myu Kubota as Tino, Fairouz Ai as Liz, and Konomi Kohara as Citry.
