A TV anime (continuous two-cour format) produced by OLM. Based on the manga by Nakashima 723, which is a comic adaptation of a novel by Rocket Shokai originally serialized on Kakuyomu. The work has an unusual history, having been first published as a doujinshi before being released by Leed Publishing. Set in the Tokyo underworld of the mid-21st century, the story follows freelance "Hero" bounty hunter Yashiro, who hunts down mafia bosses turned Demon Lords through aether enhancement surgery, when a high school girl named Jogamine shows up wanting to become his apprentice.
