Based on a manga by Agi Tadashi (story) and Shu Okimoto (art), serialized in Kodansha's "Morning," with over 15 million copies in circulation worldwide (completed in 44 volumes). Winner of the 52nd International Emmy Award (drama version) and the Japan Expo Awards 2011 Best Seinen Manga Award in France. A full-fledged wine anime depicting a grand showdown between the biological son Shizuku Kanzaki, who has no wine experience, and the adopted genius critic Issei Tomine, as they search for the legendary wine "Drops of God" with a collection worth 12 billion yen at stake.
