Based on a light novel originating from "Shosetsuka ni Naro" (Let's Become a Novelist) by Tenichi, with the book version published under Ichijinsha's "Ichijinsha Bunko Iris" imprint. The series has surpassed 1.8 million copies in circulation (as of July 2025). Manga adaptation by Misaki Kogawa.
