A TV anime produced by Madhouse (continuous 2 cours). Based on a manga by Shinobu Kaitani serialized in Shueisha's "Weekly Young Jump," with over 4.8 million copies (completed in 19 volumes). The first anime adaptation following live-action drama and film versions. A psychological suspense thriller in which kindhearted college student Nao Kanzaki gets dragged into the "Liar Game," a high-stakes deception game, and fights using strategy and wits alongside genius con artist Shinichi Akiyama.
