Yowayowa Sensei is a TV anime produced by Brain's Base, based on the manga by Kamio Fukuchi serialized in Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine. New teacher Hiyori Hiwa has a fragile constitution and a timid personality, but her intimidating appearance leads students to mistake her as the "scary teacher." When male high school student Akito Abikura discovers the truth, he begins supporting her, and their relationship gradually deepens in this romantic comedy built on the amusing contrast between appearance and personality. Directed by Hiroshi Ishiodori with series composition by Yukinori Fukushima, character design by Naoki Aisaka, and music by Akifumi Tada and Rina Tayama.
