20th Century Electric Catalogue: Eureka Evrika is a TV anime produced by Kyoto Animation, based on the novel by Hiroshi Yuuki published under KA Esma Bunko, Kyoto Animation's own label. Set in 1907 Kyoto Fushimi at the dawn of the 20th century as Western culture and electrical technology begin to permeate Japan, the story follows 15-year-old Kihachi Sakamoto, who denies gods and Buddha, and devout 15-year-old Inako Momokawa as they search for the prophetic "Electric Catalogue" that Kihachi wrote in his childhood. A coming-of-age adventure set in Meiji-era Kyoto. Exclusively streamed worldwide on Netflix. Directed by Minoru Ota with series composition by Tatsuhiko Urahata, character design by Kohei Okamura, and music by Hitomi Koto.
