BLACK TORCH is a TV anime produced by 100studio, based on the manga by Tsuyoshi Takaki serialized in Shueisha's Jump SQ. and Shonen Jump+. High schooler Jiro Azuma, raised as a ninja descendant with the ability to talk to animals, encounters an injured black cat named Rago in the forest. Rago turns out to be a legendary mononoke (supernatural being). As various factions move to seize Rago's power, Jiro and Rago join the government's secret organization "Bureau of Espionage" to fight against mononoke in this dark action series. Directed by Kei Umabiki with series composition by Okuemon Ichikawa and music by Yutaka Yamada. Starring Ryota Suzuki as Jiro, Yoji Ueda as Rago, Junya Enoki as Reiji, and Junichi Suwabe as Ryosuke.
