World Is Dancing is a TV anime produced by CygamesPictures, based on the manga by Kazuto Mihara serialized in Kodansha's Morning. A historical manga centered on the art of Noh theater. In 1374, during Japan's turbulent Nanboku-cho period, young Oniyasha, born into a sarugaku performer family as the son of Kan'ami, grapples with the question "Why do people dance?" After encountering truly beautiful dance, he grows through meetings, laughter, and tears, forging "a new form of dance" in this impermanent world. Oniyasha would later become the legendary Zeami. Directed by Toshimasa Kuroyanagi with series composition by Sawako Kawaman, character design by Keigo Sasaki, and music by Daisuke Shinoda. Kata supervision by Reijiro Tsumura, choreography by Kaiji Moriyama and Mikiko Kawamura. Starring Yumiri Hanamori as Oniyasha, Maaya Uchida as Kogane, and Katsuyuki Konishi as Kan'ami.
