The World's Strongest Rearguard is a TV anime produced by MAHO FILM, based on the light novel by Towa (story) and Fuuka Fuuka (character concepts) published by KADOKAWA under Kadokawa Books. Manga adaptation by Rikizo serialized in Monthly Comic Alive (KADOKAWA). Series circulation has surpassed 1.7 million copies. Salaryman Arihito is transported to a "Labyrinth Country" after an accident, where all transferred people must live as dungeon seekers. Arihito chooses the unprecedented job of "Rearguard," awakening as an all-purpose support class handling offense support, defense support, and recovery. He assembles ideal companions while climbing the seeker ranks. Directed by Takeshi Yanase with series composition by Deko Akao.
