The Fallen Sage's Academy Domination is a TV anime produced by EMT Squared, based on the light novel by Shin Shiraishi (story) and Sakana Denim (character concepts) published by KADOKAWA under Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko. Manga adaptation by Kentaro published under Square Enix's Gangan Comics UP!. Series circulation has surpassed 1.8 million copies. The great sage Eftal, who devoted his entire reincarnated life to magical research, dies in despair upon reaching the limits of his talent, only to be reborn a second time 400 years later. Retaining his previous life's magical knowledge, he wields miraculous power in a world where magical civilization has declined. He saves a slave girl named Anastasia and reunites with his former disciple Merlin, now the academy headmaster. Directed by Hisashi Ishii with series composition by Deko Akao.
