Based on the light novel originating from "Shosetsuka ni Naro" (Let's Become a Novelist) by Natsu Hyuga, with the print edition published by Shufunotomo's "Hero Bunko" imprint. The series has over 45 million copies in circulation (as of November 2025, including novels, manga, and digital editions). A massive hit that saw an increase of over 16 million copies after the anime adaptation. The stage shifts from the inner palace to the streets. Signs of disaster striking the nation, a mysterious shrine maiden bewildering the people, and the duties imposed on Jinshi as an imperial prince. New trials await Maomao and Jinshi.
