The Vicious Villainess Nia Liston is a TV anime produced by KONAMI animation, based on the light novel by Umikaze Minamino (story) and Katana Kanata (character concepts) published by Hobby Japan under HJ Bunko. Manga adaptation by Kodai Ko published under Square Enix's Gangan Comics UP!. Series circulation has surpassed 1.8 million copies. A great hero who slew even gods dies wishing to meet someone strong enough to kill him. He awakens reincarnated (possessed) as Nia Liston, an ailing noble lady of the Liston domain. Though physically frail, she carries the soul of a legendary warrior, and this "vicious villainess" unleashes elegant, overwhelming combat.
