Directed by Goro Taniguchi of "ONE PIECE FILM RED" and "Code Geass" fame, with character concept designs by Katsuya Kondo of "Kiki's Delivery Service" and screenplay by Reiko Yoshida. Set in 1912 Paris, the story follows two Japanese girls—Fujiko, who dreams of becoming a painter, and Chizuru, who aspires to ballet—as they fatefully reunite in Paris and reach for the étoile (star) in a challenging era.
