Poupelle of Chimney Town: The Promised Clock Tower is an anime film produced by STUDIO4°C. It is the second theatrical installment based on the picture book Poupelle of Chimney Town (Gentosha) by Akihiro Nishino, serving as a sequel to the 2020 film. Nishino handles the original story, screenplay, and executive production, with Yusuke Hirota directing. One year after the previous film, young Lubicchi, grieving the loss of his dear friend Poupelle, tries to move on. One day he stumbles into "Millennium Fortress," a parallel world that controls time, where he discovers a mysterious clock tower stopped at 11:59. The only way back is to make the clock tower work again. Alongside Moff, a cat from this world, Lubicchi meets Gas, a clockmaker who has believed in a promise for 100 years.
