Mononoke the Movie: Chapter 3 - The Serpent God is an anime film produced by Studio Kafka EOTA, the concluding third chapter of the theatrical series based on the 2007 TV anime Mononoke. Produced and distributed by Twin Engine. Following the battles against Karakasa and Hinezumi, peace seemingly returns to the Inner Palace. Yet the Medicine Seller senses a lingering presence. Sachiko, the Shogun's consort, gives birth to a long-awaited son but loses her life. Caught in a terrible conspiracy threatening the very existence of the Inner Palace, Sachiko encounters the Mononoke known as the Serpent God.
