Patlabor EZY File 2 is an anime film produced by J.C.STAFF. The second of three chapters in the new installment of the original franchise by HEADGEAR (Masami Yuuki, Yutaka Izubuchi, Kazunori Ito, Akemi Takada, et al.). Distributed by Shochiku ODS and Bandai Namco Filmworks. Set in 2030s Japan, it depicts the activities of the Metropolitan Police Special Vehicles Section 2 combating Labor-related crimes. Continuing from File 1, new generation pilot Towa Kuga and her team face emerging technology crimes. Directed by Yutaka Izubuchi with screenplay and series composition by Kazunori Ito, character concepts by Masami Yuuki, and music by Kenji Kawai.
