The second season of this rollicking fantasy in which high schooler Makoto Misumi, scorned as 'ugly' by a goddess and stripped of the hero title, begins his journey to set things right in another world from the farthest reaches of the wasteland. Joined by his colorful retainers including the superior dragon Tomoe and the calamity-class black spider Mio, the story shifts to the academy city of Rotsgard as the narrative accelerates toward encounters with two as-yet-unseen heroes. The series impresses with its grand-scale storytelling across two consecutive cours. The first cour OP theme is 'Utopia' by Suda Keina, with the ED being 'My Factor' by Kento Ito. In the second cour, the OP switches to 'Reversal' by syudou and the ED to 'Joushikihazure Human' by Kaori Maeda.
