An anime adaptation of a fantasy originating on 'Shosetsuka ni Narou' by Kazanami Shinogi. After the online game 'THE NEW GATE' turned into a death game, the strongest player Shin freed all the trapped players, only to be transported to the far future of the game world through a mysterious door that appeared upon clearing the game. In a place where the former game world has become reality, his adventure to return to the original world begins. The OP theme is Sou's 'Sekai wo Inuite,' and the ED theme is Miho Okasaki's 'Kanataboshi,' accompanying the journey through the vast other world.
