An isekai fantasy based on a light novel by Kougetsu Shin. Allen is a boy who has been scorned as a failure for not receiving a 'Gift' -- the special abilities bestowed by the gods -- but his true identity is that of a former hero who retains the memories and powers of his previous life. Seeing his banishment from the ducal house as an opportunity, he sets out on a journey of freedom, only to encounter an assassination attempt on his former fiancee, unwillingly raising the curtain on a new heroic saga. The OP theme is Shouta Aoi's 'EVOLVE,' and the ED theme is Aimi's 'Meritocracy,' heightening the anticipation for new adventures.
