A TV anime adaptation of Oshioshio's manga -- a straight-up comedy about a deer-human hybrid girl causing chaos. Torashikako, a metropolitan high school student hiding her former delinquent past behind an honor-student facade, rescues a mysterious girl named Shikanoko whose antlers got caught in power lines, and her peaceful daily life crumbles from there. The series thrives on surreal deer-themed gags and the banter among the colorful members of the Deer Club. Produced by WIT STUDIO and directed by Ota Masahiko, the OP theme is 'Shika-iro Days' sung by the Deer Club, whose addictive refrain of 'shikanoko nokonoko koshitantan' went viral on social media even before the show aired. The ED theme is 'Shika Senbei no Uta' by Shikanoko and Torashikako.
