After the fall of the Kamakura Shogunate, Hojo Tokiyuki -- the legitimate heir to the shogunate who lost everything to Ashikaga Takauji's rebellion -- escapes Kamakura with the guidance of the Shinto priest Suwa Yorishige and sets out to reclaim his legacy using 'fleeing' as his weapon. While grounded in historical fact, the series delivers a unique brand of historical entertainment that fuses Yusei Matsui's signature humor with dynamic action. Produced by CloverWorks, the exhilarating battle scenes have been highly praised. The OP theme is 'Plan A' by DISH//, and the ED theme 'Kamakura STYLE' by Bocchi Boromaru adds to the series' atmosphere.
