In the celestial realm where gods dwell, Sakuna-Hime -- a lazy goddess born to a war god and a harvest goddess -- is banished to Hinoe Island, a demon-infested isle, after a certain incident. On barren land, she grows rice, battles demons, and matures through communal life with humans who have wandered into the divine realm. The work's charm lies in its fusion of meticulously depicted rice-farming processes with exhilarating action in a unique world setting. The OP theme is 'Harebae!' by Ikimonogakari, and the ED theme is 'ORIGAMI' by Little Glee Monster.
